AAT DIRKS & MEREL VOORSLUIS
Eindelijk is het zover. Een samenwerking tussen artiestenechtpaar Aat Dirks (Compagnie Mobil) en Merel Voorsluis (Cie Merel Voorsluis). Na jaren touren met hun solovoorstellingen Sulky M1 en Safe 2.0 denken ze dat hun huwelijk sterk genoeg is om het aan te kunnen. Laat dit nou het voornaamste thema zijn van hun voorstelling ECHT: een artiestenechtpaar met huwelijksproblemen.
Aat Dirks en Merel Voorsluis maken visueel straattheater zonder tekst. Ze maken fysieke comedy met publieksparticipatie.

Merel Voorsluis heeft sinds 2018 haar eigen theatergroep, Cie Merel Voorsluis. Van 2008 tot 2017 maakte zij locatietheater voorstellingen bij Theatergroep Tuig waarmee zij internationaal tourde met de voorstellingen Schraapzucht en Hellend vlak.
Daarvoor heeft zij projecten als maker en speler gedaan bij Warner & Consorten en The Lunatics. Ze was regie-assistent bij Theatergroep Carver en Marcus Azzini.
Zij maakt tragi-comedy zonder tekst. In haar vakgebied is Merel Voorsluis een van de weinige vrouwelijke solisten.

Aat Dirks speelt sinds 2005 woordeloze straattheater comedy onder de naam Compagnie Mobil. Hij heeft de solo voorstellingen Sulky M1 en DESPOOT gemaakt. Sulky M1, een hilarische voorstelling met een klein autootje, speelt nog steeds. Van 2019 tot 2022 maakte hij in samenwerking met Karel Casier (Mobil&Casier) de prijswinnende voorstelling B.V. Natuur, die met veel succes in binnen en buitenland heeft gespeeld. Samen met Merel Voorsluis (Mobil&Voorsluis) werd in 2022 de voorstelling ECHT gemaakt. Merel Voorsluis, artist. Voorsluis has made visual outside performances over the past 10 years at theater compagnie TUIG. With Compagnie Tuig she toured with the shows ‘Schraapzucht’ and ‘Hellend Vlak’ through Europe. Her solo performance SAFE is playing for the third year and would tour in Germany, Austrian, Belgian, Italy and Holland last summer. SAFE is one of the few female soloist shows in Holland.
Aat Dirks, artist. Dirks works under the name Compagnie MOBIL (since 2005). He makes physical comedy without words. Since 2019 he cooperates with Karel Casier (streettheatre group Mobil&Casier). They made the show ‘Nature Inc.’ Dirks made two solo shows: ‘Sulky M1’ and ‘Despoot’. He toured all trough Europe with great success.
